About · Built by techinverted
We're building the back-office SMBs deserve.
Grid is a multi-tenant ops platform: CRM, tasks, intranet, comms, and AI agents in one bill. Built by techinverted, the team behind socket.
The thesis.
SMBs deserve a bundled back-office — not five SaaS subscriptions and a vendor matrix to keep them in sync.
For two decades the all-in-one work platforms were built for teams inside one company — Slack, Notion, Asana, Linear. CRM stayed in HubSpot. Comms stayed in Twilio. Files stayed in Drive. The result: every SMB owner pays five vendors, signs five DPAs, and rebuilds the same five integrations every time someone joins or leaves.
Grid replaces that stack with one platform on one database. CRM, tasks, intranet, comms, calendar, workflows, and AI agents run on the same access layer. One login. One bill. One audit log. The record you saw in the pipeline is the record the agent updates and the task is attached to.
We picked multi-tenancy as a first-class primitive — not a workspace switcher bolted on after series A. Agencies and operators run their own clients as isolated tenants from a single admin pane. Per-tenant branding, per-tenant Stripe, per-tenant AI cap. The platform you ship to clients is the platform you use to run your own business.
What we're building.
One platform. Multi-tenant from day one. AI that does the work — not a chat window glued to a CRM.
One platform.
CRM, tasks, intranet, comms, calendar, workflows, and AI — one database, one access layer, one bill. No data living in five SaaS apps.
Multi-tenant from day one.
Real per-client isolation. Agencies and operators run dozens of branded tenants from one admin pane — not "spaces" in someone else's workspace.
AI that does the work.
Agents update deals, file tasks, draft emails, and log activity inside your tenant. Same access controls your team has. Hard cost cap per run.

Built by techinverted.
Grid is a product by techinverted — a small studio shipping operational software for SMBs. Alongside Grid we build socket, a CMS-based website builder for the same audience. Same team. Same architectural taste — one database, one access layer, one bill — applied to a different surface.
If you're evaluating whether Grid is a real company: yes. Run by people who pick up the phone, write their own commit messages, and answer [email protected].
